About YardVibes
YardVibes is a joint streaming platform by Africadelic and Caribbean Creativity, two Amsterdam-based non-profit organizations dedicated to showcasing films by independent African and Caribbean creators. Featuring a growing catalogue of more than 100 titles, YardVibes offers a diverse selection of feature films, web series, documentaries, and short films, with new titles added every month. All films are available for individual rental at an affordable price, with the majority of the proceeds going directly to the filmmakers and content creators.
About Caribbean Creativity
Caribbean Creativity is an Amsterdam- and Kingston-based non-profit organization that is committed to the programming and promotion of Caribbean and Caribbean-themed cinema. Over the years, Caribbean Creativity has hosted over 350 screenings in film theatres and at film festivals, including numerous premieres. In 2020, they launched YardVibes, a streaming platform featuring content from independent Caribbean and African filmmakers. YardVibes currently offers over 100 titles, including feature films, web series, documentaries, and short films, with new content added monthly.
About Africadelic
Africadelic is an Amsterdam-based non-profit organization and platform committed to the programming and promotion of African and African diasporic cultural creativity, diversity, and activism in the Netherlands and beyond. Held annually around International Africa Day on May 25, the Africadelic Festival pays tribute to the African continent and its global diaspora, celebrating the invaluable cultural contributions of Afrodescendants, people of African descent, to the world's past, present, and future. This year’s edition, held from May 20-27, 2026, once again offered a vibrant week of events. Beyond the annual festival, Africadelic organizes a diverse range of events throughout the year, including concerts, talks, and film screenings.
